In 1988, after graduating from the University of Oregon, Tony Fortuna worked for a family business, and later became a real estate appraiser in the Eugene/Springfield area. Tony missed the entrepreneurial aspects he had enjoyed from his family’s business, and dreamed of owning his own. In March of 1995 he realized his dream and opened his carpet cleaning business. Tony quickly realized that most carpet cleaning companies were not providing good service and did not seem to know much about cleaning. He knew that he wanted to run his business with integrity, honesty and professional attention.
Tony immersed himself in education. His company became one of the first in the area to become an IICRC certified company, and he was one of the first individuals in the area to become certified. Since opening in 1995, Tony continues to build the company, adding important certifications and designations along the way. Tony continues to be invited each year to participate in training sessions, brain storming sessions and seminars with the leaders in our industry across the United States. In 2007, he became a Senior Practicing Certified Carpet Inspector. He is hired by carpet manufacturers, carpet retailers, consumers, insurance agencies, and attorneys as an industry expert to investigate manufacturing issues, installation issues along with consumer complaints. In 2010 he became a certified inspector for hard surfaces.
As a result, he is sought after to solve many difficult cleaning problems for carpet retailers, property managers and homeowners that most other cleaning companies cannot.
